Horse Riding

The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority has been awarded the BHS Access Award for the National Park most active in opening up equestrian routes. A perfect riding resort with spectacular scenery, wealth of wildlife and some of the best riding in Europe. We have thousands of acres of hills, moors and fields, criss-crossed by ancient tracks and lanes - a world away from the bustle of urban life.

There is also a wide range of stables and riding centres across the Park, each offering a unique variety of treks, hacks and trails. As a result there is something for literally everyone, from absolute beginner to total master and from small child to mature veteran.

On a personal note, on the family farm we have a growing collection of Welsh Cob, and Welsh Cob crosses. Traditionally used for shepherding up on the mountain but also fantastic fun at Pony Club or just out happy hacking. We hope to be able to offer our own unique brand of “B&B" soon - combining the luxury and comfort of Peterstone Court or the Manor Hotel with stabling for you horses on our farm.
